As we begin a new year, I want to take a moment to thank our readers for the time you spent with Consultant in 2025. Whether you turned to the journal for practical clinical guidance, published a case report with us, or peer reviewed a manuscript, your engagement is what sustains and shapes this publication.

In a rapidly evolving clinical landscape, our goal remains the same: to deliver peer-reviewed, clinically relevant content that supports decision-making at the point of care. Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited about what is to come. Throughout the year, you can expect feature articles that examine emerging challenges across primary care and related clinical disciplines, with a focus on their impact on everyday practice.

We will continue to publish rigorous case reports and, building on that foundation, expand Case Report Insights, a video feature that takes you inside the diagnostic process alongside authors of recently published Consultant case reports.

Our Atlas of Lumps and Bumps series will also be adapted into medically reviewed interactive quizzes designed to sharpen diagnostic recognition in the pediatric dermatology subspecialty. In addition, look for more slideshows that curate high-impact Consultant360 content into focused, clinically useful collections.
