Understanding Richter Transformation in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Richter transformation develops in a small subset of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and usually evolves into diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Conventional approaches such as R-CHOP chemotherapy yield limited benefit, and prognosis remains poor.
