The Dexcom Share system uses 2 apps to display data from the G4 Platinum CGM System:

The first app is installed on the patient’s mobile phone where the patient can designate people as “followers” in order to share his or her CGM data in real-time.

The second app is installed on the follower’s phone where they can download the CGM data and monitor it in real-time from the G4 Platinum System’s web-based storage location.

The Dexcom Share System is not intended for use by patients in place of standard home blood glucose monitoring systems.
