Pediatric Pearls: Predicting Long-Term Neurological Impairment

    A child, who was born extremely preterm (< 28 weeks gestation), presents with his parents for his 2-year wellness check. His parents are concerned about his neurodevelopmental growth and ask about how well the neurodevelopmental measurements taken now might predict their son's long-term neurodevelopmental impairment.
